Meet Miss Jill
OWNER/DIRECTOR B.ED.
Hello and welcome! I’m Miss Jill, the proud director of Pitter-Patter Preschool, where I am thrilled to work with your little ones and help them grow, explore, and develop a lifelong love for learning.
I was born and raised in Spruce Grove, and I’m excited to raise my family right here in Parkland County. I am so grateful to be part of this incredible community, and it’s my privilege to offer a place where children can explore, create, and discover in a nurturing, supportive environment.
With over 19 years of teaching experience, including 13 years in Parkland School Division working with Kindergarten and Grade 3 students, I’ve had the privilege of watching children grow, learn, and thrive at every stage. I truly believe that Early Childhood Educators have one of the most important roles in a child’s life: sparking curiosity, supporting each child’s individual growth, and, above all, making them feel loved, valued, and safe.
At Pitter-Patter Preschool, our goal is to provide a strong foundation of learning through engaging activities that are both fun and educational. Whether your child is learning their ABCs, mastering new social skills, or exploring their creativity through play, my mission is to ensure they feel supported and excited about their learning journey.
I can’t wait to meet you and your little one, and I look forward to partnering with you to create a memorable and enriching preschool experience!
Meet Miss Tegan
Preschool Teacher
Hi, I’m Miss Tegan. I am so excited to be returning for my third year at Pitter-Patter preschool! Working with children has always been a passion of mine. I love to see the wonder and curiosity that emerges with each new experience they embark on. Creating engaging, fun and sometimes messy environments for children to explore and learn through brings me so much joy. I graduated from Grant MacEwan University with my Early Learning and Childcare Diploma in 2012. Over the past 10 years I have enjoyed learning and growing along side each child I’ve worked with through daycare, Nannying and Preschool positions. I am looking forward to seeing some new and returning smiling faces. I can’t wait to get to know everyone and have an amazing school year!
Meet Miss Elizabeth
Preschool Teacher
Hello, I am Miss Elizabeth, and I am so excited to be joining the Pitter-Patter Preschool team this year!
I am a trained Early Childhood Educator with a Diploma in Early Learning and Child Care, along with more than ten years of experience working with children of various ages.
Having grown up in Stony Plain, I am especially excited to have the opportunity to work with children and families right here in the community.
One of my favourite things about working with children is that every day brings new energy, curiosity, and opportunities to learn. There is something so special about watching a child discover a new skill, gain confidence, or reach an important milestone. Being part of those moments is incredibly rewarding and brings a deep sense of purpose to my work.
I am looking forward to meeting all of our wonderful Pitter-Patter families and getting to know each of the children. I cannot wait to share a fun-filled year of learning, growing, exploring, and making wonderful memories together!
Meet Miss Ericka
Pre-K Teacher
Hi! I am Miss Ericka! I have always loved children and working with them has become a dream come true. I love creating a welcoming environment for my students with the ability to safely explore new skills and emotions. I love reading stories, playing, having dance parties, creating arts and crafts, but more importantly teaching new skills through play and wonder. I am so excited to meet you and begin this new adventure together.
Meet Miss Jessica
Pre-K Teacher
Hi, I’m Miss Jessica!
I am so excited to be joining the Pitter-Patter team! While this is my first year fully teaching in a preschool classroom, I have enjoyed spending time at Pitter-Patter as a substitute teacher and have experience working with children through volunteering and raising my own family.
I hold my Early Childhood Education Certification and am passionate about creating a welcoming, nurturing environment where every child feels safe, valued, and excited to learn. I love helping children explore their creativity through crafts, hands-on activities, and play-based learning. When I’m not in the classroom, I enjoy camping, spending time with my family, and making memories with our two children and dog.
I look forward to getting to know each child and family and sharing a wonderful year of learning, growth, and fun together!
